At the Asheville Music School, we have eight piano teachers who have a wealth of experience as instructors and performers.  We offer lessons for the very young (age 3) to those who might find themselves a bit older than 3.  Our oldest students are in their 70s right now.  You would need to decide what style of music you ultimately would like to play....Classical, jazz, ragtime, blues, gospel, new age, or perhaps tunes from Broadway.  You can pick any musical time period or any musical style and one of our teachers will be able to help you. 

We also offer combination voice and piano lessons with a couple of our voice instructors.  We offer piano lessons for those with special needs.  Do you want to learn theory?  No problem. Our instructors will include music theory as part of your piano lesson. 

Group Option for Adults:  Deborah Belcher teaches a Recreational Music Making Class called “Piano for Fun and Relaxation”.  Groups of 6 students will meet for 8 weeks at a time.  No previous experience needed.  Follow this link for more information.
